This Privacy Policy explains how the “In or Out: Syndicate Manager” app (“In or Out”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information. In or Out is an administrative tool that helps the organiser of a lottery syndicate keep track of members’ weekly contributions and record any winnings for splitting among members. It does not facilitate gambling, does not place bets, does not buy or process lottery entries, does not move or pay out money, and does not connect to any lottery operator.

Information the app handles

To let an organiser run a syndicate, the app stores information that the organiser enters, which may include:

Member details — the name and email address of each member the organiser adds.
Contribution records — the payment/contribution status for each member across the year.
Winnings records — amounts the organiser enters for any wins, used to calculate each member’s fair split. No money is collected or paid out through the app.
Syndicate settings — such as the weekly amount, currency, and current week.

The app does not ask for or store payment card details, bank details, or any financial account credentials. No real money is collected, moved, or processed through the app.

How the information is used

To display who has paid and who is outstanding for the current draw.
To keep a record/history of contributions across the year.
To send optional email reminders to members the organiser chooses to remind.

Where the information is stored

Syndicate data is stored on the organiser’s device. It is under the organiser’s control and is used only to operate the syndicate they manage. If a member’s email address is used to send a reminder, that address is used solely to deliver the reminder the organiser initiates.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We do not share member information with advertisers or unrelated third parties. Information is not disclosed except where required by law.

Data retention and deletion

Member and contribution records remain until the organiser deletes them. Deleting a member, or removing the app’s data, removes the associated information from the device.

Children

In or Out is intended for adults organising a group. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

Members can ask the organiser who added them to update or remove their name and email. Because the organiser controls the data on their own device, requests to access, correct, or delete a member’s details should be directed to that organiser.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
